News in DJ Master development

Dear DJ Master Users and Supporters,

It is with a heavy heart that I wish to inform you that I will be discontinuing the primary development of DJ Master. After nearly 12 years of intense work and dedication to this project, I have made the decision to take this step. Starting in 2024, with version 24.0.0.0, DJ Master will only receive security updates, bug fixes, and support for new Windows versions.

The first major feature update in 2024 is expected to be released in the first quarter, and it will be the last of its kind. This decision was not made lightly, as DJ Master has been a significant part of my life, and it has been infused with a great deal of love, effort, and passion.

DJ Master has made significant progress this year, both in terms of its visual appearance and user-friendliness. A milestone was the introduction of the new music engine, which has successfully replaced the Windows Media Player engine. This paves the way for an even better DJ experience and opens up new possibilities for creative musicians and DJs.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who have supported DJ Master in any form. Special thanks go to platforms and communities such as WindowsArea.de, Tuhl Teim DE, DR Windows and Softpedia,, which have supported the project over the years.

A big thank you also goes to all those who have used the software, provided support in various ways, or downloaded it from the Microsoft Store. Your feedback and support have been invaluable.

With this decision, I am looking forward to dedicating myself to new projects that lie ahead and investing my time and energy into fresh challenges. DJ Master will always hold a special place in my heart, but it is time for change.

Sincerely,

Marvin Miltkau
